Netherlands Club

On Friday, September 15th, the Netherlands IE Alumni club enjoyed a networking breakfast hosted by IE’s International Development department. The initiative meant to introduce the new leading team of the club in the Netherlands:

Gwenn, Federico, Kirill and Alexander, leading team of the Netherlands Alumni Club, joined by Irais Souto (IE Associate Director of International Development)

The agenda of the event included alumni talks on their field and industry. Macarena Paagman (Executive Master in Corporate Communication 2017) talked about Smartify as a tool that connects art and innovation.  Gwenn, as Senior Regional Operations Manager, talked about Uber and their International HQ in NL. Federico shared his experience in ACT Commodities, one of the largest specialized companies in the field of marketable environmental related products, which also has HQ in NL.

Two current IE students, as well as five candidates applying for admission to IE master programs joined the 20 IE alumni who attended the breakfast.

It was a great opportunity to network and kick-off the 2017-2018 agenda of events for the club in the Netherlands.
