Bits & Pretzels is Coming! IE Students: Volunteer!! | Munich, 24-26 September https://www.bitsandpretzels.com/
Bits & Pretzels is a 3-day founders festival that connects 5.000 startup enthusiasts with Speakers and Table Captains like the founders of Virgin, Airbnb, Evernote or Zendesk. Bits & Pretzels creates unique networking around Munich Oktoberfest and encourages meaningful relationships between founders, investors and the media. And there are big name speakers too.
And, Bits & Pretzels wouldn’t be Bits & Pretzels without our Oktoberfest Networking on the last day of the festival. On Tuesday, 300 tables in the Schottenhamel tent are going to be reserved exclusively for Bits & Pretzels. This is where the biggest Networking event at the Oktoberfest begins!Â
How Can IE Students Get Involved?
Attending Bits & Pretzels isn’t cheap but there is a special opportunity for student volunteers!  Given that IE Business School is again a partner of this event in 2017, the IE logo will be featured throughout the event, and the best part is IE students are invited to participate as well as volunteers. That means that IE students will help during the event days but that IE students will have full access to all workshops and more (which would normally cost 300€). No more than 16 hours of volunteering is required over the 3 days of the event, types of volunteer activities include helping people to register, taking care of the Press or VIPs, taking care that the speaker/room/technology issues, etc. The opportunity also includes access to the Oktoberfest Event!
How to register and learn more about the volunteer opportunity
For more information and coordination with the IE team that will be attending, you can also contact the IE DACH Center Director Mrs. Alexandra Wuttig at Alexandra.Wuttig@ie.edu as well. Remember, you must be a current undergraduate or master student to volunteer for this event.
