Last Friday, September 9th, we were happy to welcome a group of 50 lawyers from the Young Bar Association in Amsterdam. After enjoying museums, cultural attractions and an informative session at UrÃa Menendez on the previous day, they came to our campus for a nice wrap up to their visit to Madrid.
The session started in the afternoon with a nice welcome speech from the Law School Dean, Javier de Cendra, followed by a Master Class on competition law (State aid for football clubs) delivered by professor Ana Encinas. We then finished with an amazing networking cocktail in the Olives Patio, where our guests had the chance to catch up with the professors, colleagues from the Law Admissions Team and us.
We are hoping this to be the beginning of a nice collaboration and we look forward to defining the next IE-YBA encounter in Amsterdam, hopefully later this year.

About the author
Andra has been working in business development within the education sector for the past 5 years, covering first the CEE markets and currently managing the Nordics in terms of recruiting candidates for IE. She also has experience in the healthcare industry, after 2 years dedicated to a cross-departmental assignment at Air Liquide Spain. After graduating as a Valedictorian the Bachelor Degree in Management at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, where she originally is from, she took on an international experience in Madrid. This city has been home to her for the past 9 years and this is where she graduated from her Master in International Business, at Carlos III University. Andra is passionate about skiing, reading and traveling, with a curiosity for new cultures and understanding human behaviors.
