I recently had the chance to talk as a keynote speaker at an AIESEC event (international student association).
300 students coming from all over the world met in Naples to debate on youth and entrepreneurship.
We had the chance to talk about some common myths related to entrepreneurship (in general and in relation to youth in specific) as well as having a look at what VCs and Business Angels really look for when deciding if investing or not in a company. We also covered the topic most cherished by the audience: how do I make my idea come true? Barriers of entry for digital companies are far lower than years ago, thanks to cloud computing, and business incubators are on the rise to help startups make the first steps.
Bottom line: get a good team and a decent idea and you’re ready to go! 😉
