It’s been a big year in the IE Germany, Austria and Switzerland office.
We started the year with a flurry of fairs and new candidates and are pleased to report that many of these impressive candidates are now impressive IE students.
Three professors came to visit this year; Daniel Kselman, Balvindar Powar and Jose Esteves. They all held fascinating masterclasses and gave a great example of IE values and the spirit of innovation which is integral to both our school and our programs. Our candidates seemed to agree because we had more than 250 people attend these events and the enthusiasm was great to see.
Now in its second year, our Rethink Music Berlin Venture Day, has become Europe’s single largest event for music entrepreneurship – with almost 400 start-ups, entrepreneurs, brands and investors registering attendance at Factory in Berlin. The attendees came from all over the globe, proving once again that Berlin is a worldwide hub for startups.
This year saw our third Alumni Association Oktoberfest event and we are happy to say that it was a blur of networking, beer and chicken! There may have been some dancing on tabletops however we can neither confirm nor deny those rumors   – you’ll have to come join us in 2015 for verification.
We welcomed two new team members and our formerly spacious office has been pinched and poked and rearranged to fit chairs and computers. Happily, Killian and Harshita have brought much more than new office furniture into the space and we are all excitedly bouncing new ideas and strategies around for 2015.
We’re sorry to see you go 2014 but can hardly wait to see what 2015 has in store for IE.
