June has been rich on events in the CIS region. Jose Esteeves, professor of IT and Innovations and Carl Kock, professor of Strategy went on a trip with CIS office of IE visiting Baku, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Almaty.
Jose Esteeves, continuously ranked by students as top professor on his subject, shared in Baku the secrets of Gamification. The master class has been visited by Alumni, students and candidates. Tetyana Kretova, Director Russia and Ukraine and Joseph Freiha, Director for France and Marocco together with Jose met with super great alumni network in Azerbaijan. Following the invitation of one of the current students of Executive MBA programs Vasif the employees of Azerfon had a unique chance of having a private in company master class. And discovering an exciting opportunity of start-up world in the country the team also went to meet the HighTech Park Azerbaijan and the incubator. Jose led the conversation with over 30 start-ups.
The June journey continued with Carl Kock, professor of Strategy. In St. Petersburg, Moscow and Almaty IE Alums, current students and candidates came to learn the secrets of corporate strategy during the master class ¨What Apple and (N)espresso have in Common¨. In Moscow the event has been held at the premises of local partner Business School of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which is delivering tailor made educational programs primarily for the members of the Association.
