On the 13th of May in Rome in the spectacular venue of Circolo Canottieri Aniene founded in 1892 it was held an event which Mr. Riccardo ILLY, President of GRUPPO ILLY S.p.A.
The title of the event was “Private companies and public administration – comparing competences and objectives” which saw ten IE Alumni involved in an active discussion with the presenter.
Mr. Riccardo Illy is Managing Director of Illy Coffee and former President and Mayor of Trieste and the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.
“Such unique combination of different experiences allowed us to understand the importance of the impact of diverse stakeholders on two different areas and how different skills developed could usefully be transferred between this two worlds seeming so different from each other”

With an Engineering background and experience in consulting, Sergio Negri completed his MBA in 2004, after which he joined Metro News as a Business Development Manager. Since 2008 he has been the Manager for IE in Italy, finding new job opportunities for IE alumni and advising potential candidates. He’s also Adjunct professor at IE, in the field of IT management.
