Launch of the UKTI scholarship with IE Business School. 22 March 2013 London

The IE UK office would like to invite you to the launch of the IE UKTI scholarship on Friday 22^nd March 2013. UKTI and IE Business School are proud to announce their partnership to provide scholarships for top UK candidates studying a postgraduate Master at IE Business School.  In addition to scholarships there is also the opportunity to complete an internship with UKTI upon graduation at IE. UKTI is the government department helping to facilitate trade between the UK and overseas countries and IE´s partnership with UKTI will no doubt strengthen educational and economic ties securing the best education for top talent in the UK.

Barrie Harris, UKTI Sector team for Education, Skills & Publishing, Strategic Trade Directorate will be speaking about the role of UKTI and the relationship between business and education. 

Martin Phelan, Director of Trade & Investment, UKTI Iberia who heads up the commercial team (UKTI) in Madrid, helping UK exporters do business in Spain, and Spanish companies invest in the UK will also be offering his expertise on trade agreements such as these and how UKTI operates in Spain. 

On behalf of IE Business School, Gonzalo Garland, Director of External Relations and a Professor of Economics will talk about the macroeconomic aspect and his experience in expanding IE´s presence in other geographical regions.
