CEE’s Social Innovation Forum, Bucharest 14-15th of March 2013 – Marriott Hotel
Central and Eastern Europe is still struggling with advancing towards a sustainable, meaningful future. Still, the CEE area has an awesome opportunity ahead: creating an innovative future built upon the deepest convictions of what’s meaningful rather than a preset model.
The people in this region have the ideas, the energy and the enthusiasm for making change possible, while sometimes lacking the resources, experience and expertise already in place in Western Europe or other parts of the world.
Unlike other markets, this region is in the very first stages of learning and implementing business models into the social minded projects.
The ambition is to increase the number of sustainable social venture, building capacity within these organizations as well as increasing the awareness in the corporate and private sector regarding the benefits of impact investment as a more sustainable and durable way of developing the local communities we live in.
On behalf of IE, Steven d’Souza will join Connection 2013, which will be more than a professional event, a personal experience. The flow of the event is flexible and tailored on the needs of participants allowing them to attend specific sessions or general audience moments.
