It’s that time of the year again folks, Christmas ornaments are coming out of storage and geese everywhere are getting fat and nervous.
All this Christmas in the air inspired us to organise a little Christmas fun for our IE friends, which is why Prof. Ignacio de la Torre is coming to Munich. Prof. de la Torre is the Academic Director of the Master in Finance Programs at IE Business School and together, we will be exploring what we can learn from our collective financial history. The history of finance is littered with mistakes which show up again and again and these mistakes can be used as lessons to prevent future financial crises or rather to forecast the future of finance.
Please come and listen to Professor de la Torre’s fascinating talk and then celebrate Christmas in style with the IE Germany office, IE alumni and new students. Andra has been working in business development within the education sector for the past 5 years, covering first the CEE markets and currently managing the Nordics in terms of recruiting candidates for IE. She also has experience in the healthcare industry, after 2 years dedicated to a cross-departmental assignment at Air Liquide Spain. After graduating as a Valedictorian the Bachelor Degree in Management at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, where she originally is from, she took on an international experience in Madrid. This city has been home to her for the past 9 years and this is where she graduated from her Master in International Business, at Carlos III University. Andra is passionate about skiing, reading and traveling, with a curiosity for new cultures and understanding human behaviors.
