IE, ranked 3rd in the world by the Aspen Institute’s “Beyond Great Pinstripes” ranking, and Professor Max Oliva would like to invite you to a series of CSR workshops titled “Social Innovation at IE”. – Amsterdam (27th Nov), Brussels (28th Nov) and Zurich (29th Nov).
“Faculty, students, companies, we all have to rethink the way we do business. In the next 5, 10, 20 years, we need to reinvent it.
We need to take this seriously and invite and challenge one another to play a part in the conversation on sustainability.”
Max Oliva is Associate Director of Social Impact Management at IE Business School. During his management, IE Business School has been distinguished by the Aspen Institute as the 3rd worldwide in integrating social and environmental impact into their MBA programs. Max is also Co-Founder and Director of Hub Madrid and Member of The Hub, a network of +20 inspirational habitats in major world cities where +5,000 social innovators work, meet, learn, connect and realize progressive ideas for a radically better world.
As Einstein once said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them”. In these workshops, we will explore different ideas and methodologies related to social innovation, including systems thinking, process design and design thinking. If we need to redesign the way we do business and the way we create value, we need to use different methodologies, new ways of collaboration and co-creation, bringing together unlikely allies to achieve what might seem impossible, possible.

Kim is currently part of the European team in the International Development department at IE. Following her legal studies in London, she became the Director of various art galleries in both the UK and Spain, organizing international exhibitions in Asia, Europe and the US and editing various publications on Film and the Arts, and then went on to work as a legal assistant and translator at an International law firm based in Madrid.
