As anticipated a few months ago some IE Alumni had the chance to meet dozens of HR Directors and Top Executives from big firms in Italy, during the “practical cooking experience” at Academia Barilla. The event had 50 participants, 11 of which Alumni. Companies represented were top notch: Gucci, Benetton, Ducati, Unicredit, Fiat, HP, Kyocera and Seat Pagine Gialle among many others. It’s been amazing to share this really practical and fun activity with career decision makers, in that informal environment. I cannot imagine going to an interview in the future and say “hey man, I remember you doing pasta:)”.
The event also comprised a small presentation about how to recruit with IE, to consolidate IE’s brand recognition among top employers.
But the story does not end here! the Alumni Club is organizing a set of “company visits” (mainly Italian firms) where our hosts will have the chance to “show off” facilities and do some employer branding, while Alumni will get to know different working environments. These events will involve a small group of 10-15 Alumni.
