IE´s champion men´s football team

 

IE Business School had a strong showing at the annual MBA Tournament (MBAT), the largest MBA sports tournament in Europe in May.  IE took home medals in five categories at the MBA Tournament (known as the MBAT) and came in fourth place overall among 14 participating business schools. Here are the results: 

Gold: Men´s football, golf 
Silver: Swimming 
Bronze: Women´s football, rugby 

Not only is the MBAT the largest sports tournament, it´s also the largest annual gathering of MBA students of any kind in Europe. This year more than 2,000 students participated in the three days of sports competition, representing more than 70 nationalities. Students get the chance to meet and network with people from schools all over Europe, bond with their teams, and have a great time exploring a new country.  IE MBA student Richard Bernard was part of IE´s Cricket team, which in their spare time played cricket in various places around Paris, including next to the Eiffel Tower.
