Sally Averill
Dear Readers,
It is my pleasure to announce that IE opened a new office in the United Kingdom on April 2. The new IE office is located in Central London and it will be run and managed by Sally Averill, who has been an IE Associate Director of International Development in Madrid, Spain, for the past 2 1/2 years.
Sally is a bright and highly motivated UK native and holds an MBA from IE. She has more than 10 years of international experience working in marketing and business development for entrepreneurial start-ups as well as multinationals such as Moet Hennesy and Timex. She has wide international experience, having lived and worked in more than 5 countries, including Australia, Spain and France and is fluent in 3 languages.
It is an important step that IE gives in to provide better services to our alumni living in the UK, to improve our network with companies and institutions, as well as supporting our candidates living in the country.

External Relations professional with extensive experience in Business Development, Marketing and Sales, Daisy has worked for private companies, international organizations and educational institutions. She graduated from IE´s MBA Program in 2004 and has been with IE ever since, her positions including International Programs Admissions Director and International Development Director for Europe and Central Asia. Prior to IE, Daisy worked as an External Relations Director for the InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB) in Brazil. She started her professional career as a broadcast and print journalist, having worked for several news channels and media, including The Philadelphia Inquirer, Folha de Sao Paulo, Gazeta Mercantil and TV Manchete. In 1997, she launched her own communications agency in Brasilia, Brazil as her first steps in entrepreneurship. She has worked and lived in six countries and speaks five languages. In addition, she is an animal rights supporter and is involved in several women’s professional development projects.
