On March 10th, IE Business School participated in the “Women in Business Career & MBA” event organised for 50 Ukrainian women by MBA Strategy.
Irina Polovneva, the IE Country representative for Russia and Ukraine, shared her MBA experience and answered questions on how to get into an MBA program and the challenges that women face after the graduation. As usual, the audience was very active and enthusiastic.

Irina represents IE in Russia and Ukraine. She graduated from the International MBA in the top 20% of her class. Her professional background is in Marketing and PR. Prior to the MBA she worked for over five years at Samsung Electronics and reached the position of Head of Brand Marketing in Ukraine. She strives for balance in life and usually achieves it through salsa dancing and gastronomy. Her favourite quote from one of her MBA professors: "Making money is easy. Doing what you love is tough".
