In a very complex and fast changing world, effective communication has become the key to success for both companies and professionals.
No matter if its internal or external, learning how to get the message across through various channels, overcoming cultural barriers and generating the desired impact on peers, clients or partners is crucial to any profession nowadays. IE Business School will hold a master class on February 27 to address these issues.
By analyzing the most commonly observed communications problems faced by companies and professionals on a day-to-day basis and discussing how to avoid them, Deise Leobet, a former international journalist with vast experience in the media in the US, Latin America and Europe and currently IE’s International Development Director for Europe and CIS, will guide participants in how to communicate more effectively.
Using clear cases and examples in her presentation, Mrs. Leobet, also the former Inter-American Bank External Relations Director, will enable participants to set clear strategies and learn innovative communications skills.
About the author
Kim is currently part of the European team in the International Development department at IE. Following her legal studies in London, she became the Director of various art galleries in both the UK and Spain, organizing international exhibitions in Asia, Europe and the US and editing various publications on Film and the Arts, and then went on to work as a legal assistant and translator at an International law firm based in Madrid.
