In a highly competitive and saturated market environment, building strong brands has become an imperative need. The best way to hold customers and attract new ones is to ensure you have a unique value proposition that is both rationally and emotionally different.

This talk is designed to actively engage you in understanding the strategic role that brands play in driving business growth and profitability and why they have become key assets in organizations. We will further address how to build a meaningful, differentiated brand as well as how to fully deliver a brand experience capable of driving revenue and profit growth.

This presentation will be lead by Martin Bohem, Professor of Marketing at IE Business School since 2006 and Academic Director of the Master in International Management program.

IE Business School was featured in the UK´s Idependent

IE University, which offers bachelors degrees at its campus in Segovia, was mentioned last week when we were interviewed by The Independent about the increasing popularity of undergraduate study options in Spain. The article titled “It´s time for students to cheer ‘viva España’” was in the study abroad section and included feedback from an incoming IE student from the UK and also featured quotes from the IE UK office.

It´s been a busy few weeks for the recently opened London IE office.  We recently held an in company Masterclass hosted by Capita Consulting, a FTSE 100 company, and a leading outsourcer in the UK focused on BPO.  Andrew Reader, IE IMBA08 alumni and Capita employee, was present at the event where Capita consultants and their top clients heard Professor Martin Boehm (Associate Dean Master in Management) discuss their hot topic: Customer management: How to measure and value it.

In a trip up to Scotland last week we visited Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews Universities to talk about our Masters Programs.  The Edinburgh University Career Fair drew a varied and international crowd of students despite the rain.  We also held an information session and met with Fettes School in their impressive building and grounds in the centre of Edinburgh.
